A slope slide occurred at TRA's Ruifang–Houtong section, K12+233, on December 4 due to continuous heavy rain, disrupting both the east and west main lines. The east main line was reopened on December 13, restoring single-track bidirectional operation, while emergency repair work continues on the west main line. To effectively monitor the slope and retaining wall conditions during construction, a total station is being used for continuous 24-hour measurement, with the automated monitoring system serving as a management reference — enabling timely and appropriate response measures whenever safety concerns arise, in support of train operating safety management.
